This page documents small performance tweaks I tested on my Fedora system to improve how games feel while recording. They are all runtime changes, they do not touch the kernel or the bootloader, and they are easy to undo.

The goal is smoother behaviour, better consistency, and fewer small stutters during gameplay. These are simply the steps I followed on my own setup so I could see what difference was made.

None of this touches the kernel or GRUB.
